The K1 has developed many measures for the safety of its guests

Those who know us know that we never stop improving the services we provide to our guests, and more than ever we are working to make your holiday even safer, also in terms of Covid-19.
Our top priority is your health, safety and well-being. We are closely following developments around the world, following the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the guidelines of the South Tyrolean and Italian governments, to ensure that the measures we take are comprehensive and appropriate.

We have introduced the following new measures for the coming months:

Cancellation policy

• To make it easier to plan your holiday, we have changed the cancellation conditions for your bookings. All bookings for winter 2022/23 can be cancelled or rebooked free of charge in the context of the Coronavirus until 5 days before arrival.
  (the deposit is NOT refundable but will be accredited for a future stay)

Cleaning and disinfection of the apartments

• We guarantee a sealed off cleaning of the apartments - fresh cleaning utensils are used for each apartment (new cleaning rags and fresh cleaning water).
• The apartments are thoroughly disinfected before the guests arrive. Professional & special cleaning agents and ozone against viruses are used for disinfection.
• During the daily cleaning of the apartments professional antibacterial and antiviral cleaning agents are used and the premises are thoroughly ventilated.
• On request, the apartments are not cleaned daily. Cleaning agents and cleaning utensils may be provided to guests.
• For the contactless opening of the apartment door the guest receives a chip card which works with transponder technology (contactless).

Cleaning and disinfection of the general areas

• In K1, regular disinfection of the so-called "critical points" is carried out with professional cleaning agents: door handles, window sills, armchairs/benches, lift buttons, etc.
• The common areas are regularly ventilated manually with fresh air and during night disinfected with ozone.
• The common areas with automatic ventilation are set with 100% fresh air supply. There is no return of air!
• Columns/dispensers with hand disinfectants are provided at various points in K1.
• The hotel entrance and some doors in the interior have an automatic door opening by means of a light barrier.
• The common areas are organised in such a way that guests can keep a safe distance from each other as recommended by the WHO (World Health Organization) and provided by the Italian government. A distance of at least one metre to other guests is guaranteed.

Breakfast buffet & Gastronomy

• The processing of the food and the preparation of the dishes is carried out according to the strict hygienic guidelines of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
• If possible local/local products are used (products with km 0)
• Various restaurants in the area offer a delivery service.
• The shopping service for the surrounding shops is offered.

Saunas, relax area and beauty treatments

• At the entrance and in the rest areas, disinfectants and cleaning cloths as well as disinfectant for the hands are available to guests.
• The beauty department for cosmetic treatments or massages and also the outdoor whirlpool are open regularly. The water in the whirlpool is cleaned with chlorine and silver ion filters
• The use of the sauna area is possible under the observance of some safety measures.

Others

• The K1 has 13 new and very high quality residential units. Each one of them has an autonomous ventilation system for living space.
• The K1 is located on a private property and a garden is in front of the house. There are many green spaces in the immediate vicinity.
• Guests have access to a fast internet line via fiber optic network. In all apartments there is WiFi & LAN connection.
• In the apartments there is a desk and a chair for home/smartworking available to the guests also during their holidays!
• The concierge service is included. A surcharge may be charged.
• The distance to the nearest hospital with first aid station is 3 km. A Trauma Center is 200 m away.
• Face masks and disposable gloves are provided free of charge. Specific face masks are available against payment.

Staff at K1

• It is a matter of course for all employees to keep the safety distances and wash their hands frequently!
• Professional antibacterial and antiviral cleaning agents are used in K1.
• All employees have all been trained in the increased safety measures and follow the internal protocols.
